The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to overseeing all receivables into the storeroom, logging, releasing and keeping inventories according to established standards.
Essential Functions:
•Receive, store, issue, source and rotate goods.
•Work closely with requesting department heads to assure timely delivery and product quality.
•Properly use inventory and ordering system to create purchase orders, receive goods and manage inventory.
•Maintain agreed upon standards and practices in all beverage purchasing activities.
•Recommend best practices and alternative new products.
•Establish and maintain adequate PAR levels.
•Complete month-end inventory and enter into inventory system.
•Compliance with safety and OSHA.
Qualifications
Qualifications
•1-2 Years restaurant/bar/hotel experience and basic knowledge of food & beverage product.
•Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.Able to use a hand cart or dolly.Must be able to work on their feet most of the day.
•Previous use of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook and Excel is required.
•Ability to cultivate relationships with both external and internal guests.
•Detailed-oriented with excellent skills and time management.
•Professional, clear written and verbal communications.
•Must be outgoing, flexible and a good communicator.
