Your main mission will be:to report to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the Financial management: Supervising all the hotel's financial activities, including cash flow, bank reconciliations and profitability analyses

Your main functions will be:

• Preparation of financial reports: Ensuring accuracy in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, in line with regulatory requirements
• Budget and planning: Participating in the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts and monitoring results
• Cost control: Analysing and controlling the hotel's operating costs, identifying opportunities to improve financial efficiency
• Compliance and auditing: Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory standards, supervising internal and external audits
• Interdepartmental collaboration: Working closely with other departments to provide financial information that supports strategic decisions
• Establish and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement
• Develop the investment plan
• Define the general conditions for implementing financial policies and control their execution
• Analyzing contracts with suppliers, partners and other external companies on legal aspects and compliance rules
• Responsible of Procurement department and Warehouse
• Reporting to the headoffice and owning company
• Assist the General Manager in the strategic financial decisions

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial control functions, preferably in the luxury hotel sector
• In-depth knowledge of accounting, financial control and ERP tools
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Fluent English and Portuguese (preferred). Other languages a plus
• Proactivity, ability to work in a team and strategic vision
• Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution in hospitality business
• Ability to outline financial strategy, provide strategic insights, and make data-driven recommendations
• Relational, resilient profile with strong adaptability
• Excelent leadership skills
• Good communication skills
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
• Agility and adaptability in a new business environment
• May require extended hours during financial reporting periods or audits
• Able to reside in Island of Maderia, Portugal.
