Areas of leadership include but are not limited to:

Training, scheduling, and payroll
Short- and long-term planning
Developing, recommending, and adhering to the budget, labor cost plans, and objectives
Management of inventory
Ensuring the inspection program is consistently maintained and inspecting rooms daily
Working closely with vendors to assure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance
Assuring all safety, security, OSHA, and ADA policies and procedures are followed
Maintaining proper staffing levels to achieve customer service goals
Coaching and motivating colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures

The salary range for this position is $91,200 to $95,700 (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
4 years or more of progressive hotel leadership experience including Housekeeping, and as a department head, preferred
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve financial results
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
Knowledge of the latest housekeeping and laundry technology
Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies
Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc.
