Description
As an Event Planning Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between meeting planners and hotel team, ensuring the seamless execution of events. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of sales agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are met, coordinate all aspects of events, including food, beverage and audio visual requirements, to meet client specifications, managing room blocks and monitoring pickup to ensure client needs are met and hotel occupancy is optimized, establishing billing instructions and conducting final reviews to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, acting as main point of contact during events, facilitating communication between clients and hotel departments to ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration.
• A minimum of 3 years in event planning or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
