TheEvent Conciergeis the liaison between the Event Sales and/or Event Planning Manager and the on-site Meeting Planner.This position reports to the Events team and is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests while the event is on-site.It requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details. Event Concierge would oversee events on-site both in the Hotel and in McCormick Place Convention Center.

SALARY

the hourly wage for this position is $27.00.

Qualifications

• Exemplary customer service skills required. Must be friendly and can problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Open and flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays - required
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Event planning experience and/or customer service experience preferred
