Description

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for the operation of the central plant. This person will have advanced knowledge of HVAC Refrigeration and Electrician knowledge. This role requires the engineer to monitor, operate, and maintain the mechanical equipment in different areas of the hotel. They must be able to work on their own with little or no supervision. This person should possess general troubleshooting skills to repair kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and HVAC equipment. Must be able to replace light switches and outlets, familiar with working on high voltage and power over ethernet lighting. Must know how to schedule and control space temps in all areas of the hotel through the BMS. Familiar with life safety systems, Fire alarms, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and how to acknowledge and silence these alarms. This person will have some painting skills or be proficient at patching, sanding, painting, and hopefully wallpaper skills. Fundamental to good troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. As well as excellent communication skills.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.59 /hr

Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years building services construction or hotels.
• 3+ years in hotel experience preferred.
• 5+ years electrical, plumbing and HVAC skills required.
• Must be flexible with schedule working weekends, weekdays am and pm.
• Good communication skills.
• Some computer skills required.
• Must be able supervise and train employees.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and no specific shifts or days off, are guaranteed.
