Description
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue from the MICE segment. This role focuses on building strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and industry partners to position Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown as the premier destination for business events, conferences and incentives. Your key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue from the MICE segment, identifying and establishing long-term partnerships with corporate clients, event organizers and key industry stakeholders, managing key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business, leading sales negotiations and securing contracts for meetings, conferences and large-scale events, working closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, packages and occupancy, collaborating with the events and banquet teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE bookings, conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, representing the hotel at the trade shows, networking events and industry conferences to generate new business.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
• A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the MICE segment and preferably within an international hotel brand.
• Strong network and understanding of MICE industry trends, corporate travel and event planning.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to meet and exceed goals.
