Description
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue from government agencies, ministries and government-linked companies (GLCs). This role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, securing corporate contracts and ensuring Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown remains a preferred choice for government-related travel, meetings and events. Your key responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share in the government and GLC segments, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies and GLCs, identifying new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue, collaborating with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies for government and GLC bookings, leading sales presentations, proposals and RFP submissions for government tenders and corporate agreements, monitoring market trends, competitor activities and government policies affecting the hospitality industry.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality industry with similar capacity and preferably in government/GLC sales.
• Strong network and understanding of government procurement processes and GLC operation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to meet and exceed goals.
