TheCulinary Supervisorwill assist in supervising the day-to-day operation of the Culinary department. This position is responsible for production and quality of food that is serviced through our Banquets and Restaurant. The Culinary Supervisor will have a basic understanding of the kitchen operation within a hotel. They will be responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. This person will have basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills.May assist in monitoring payroll costs & overtime. Responsibilities also include supervising of hourly cooks.
