WE ARE LOOKING FOR a Full-Time Cafeteria Attendant

Job Summary:

The Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center is seeking a dynamic Cafeteria Attendant to join our team.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.75/hour (effective February 1, 2025).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and operation of the Colleague Dining Area,

• Restocking utensils, supplies, general cleaning items, etc.

• Ensuring that colleague meals are adequately stocked

• Support the Culinary team in preparing food items for the colleague meals, including general culinary prep work such as chopping/dicing/slicing fruits and vegetables and plating colleague meals in preparation to be stocked in the colleague dining room.

• Ensure the Colleague Dining Room is a warm, comfortable, and inviting place for all colleagues to take their break.

• Engage with colleagues to make them feel welcome

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

• Ability to lift/push/pull a moderate amount of weight

• Previous food & beverage experience preferred

• Ability to work a varying schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others
