Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of ourCulinary Teamas our instrumental Breakfast Cook (Cook 3)at Hyatt Regency Seattle's Andare Kitchen & Bar.

This advanced line cook position requires good communication as well as at least 2-3 years of previous line cook experience. A Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of breakfast items, sauces, stocks, frying, broiling and be comfortable in producing at a high volume level. Morning availability is required, as shifts will typically begin between 4:30a and 6:30a.

The hourly rate range for this position is $28.85/hour to $29.43/hour. The starting rate for this position is $28.85/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years with Hyatt, which is $29.43/hour.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication skills
• 2-3 years of previous line experience preferred
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including breakfast preparation
• Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen
• Able to produce at a high volume level
• Strong knife skills are required
• Requires moderate supervision and training
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings (shift start time from 4:30a and 6:30a)
• Must have valid food handler's card
