The Cook 2 is an intermediate Culinary position which requires excellent communication skills and previous line experience. The Cook 2 will work multiple stations in the kitchen and possess a solid foundation in the fundamentals of cooking. Individuals pursuing this role must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays. Individuals in this role will also require flexibility to support all areas of the Culinary division including the Tradition: An American Kitchen, HeyDey Social Club, colleague dining, and banquets.

HeyDey Social Club is centered on sunny golden hour hangs where guests can spend all evening at this cheerful bar meets European Social Club. With stellar cocktails and friendly service, HeyDey operates as a cocktail café and is the go-to place for downtown happy hour drinks. Enjoy excellent coffee for a late afternoon pick-me-up, Italian Aperitif style drinks, innovative seasonal takes on classic craft cocktails, natural wine, and local beers. Qualifications

• Refined verbal communication skills
• 1 years of previous line experience
• Culinary degree or relevant restaurant experience
• Candidate should possess an intermediate level with a broader understanding of cooking techniques
• Proficient in multitasking and managing cooking times for different dishes
• Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen and coordinate with other kitchen staff
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Varied schedule availability including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift moderate weight (up to 50 lbs)
