Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting Lead Concierge to join the hotel's opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. Opening in early 2025, the property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Position Summary
The primary role of a Lead Concierge is to provide the highest level of customer service possible while assisting guests with their requests and providing information that will enhance their stay. They are a vital member of the VIP and Guest Experience Team, working closely with the VIP leader and managers to ensure projects are being completed and scheduled according to occupancy. Their job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating a positive guest experience.
Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions
• Assist guests with special requests by arranging services or connecting them with suitable providers (e.g., transportation, dining reservations, local activities, spa).
• Address special requests with unique needs and ideas, and follow up with guests and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Accurately enter all guest requests and necessary information in Alice and Opera.
• Monitor F&B outlets for seating availability, service quality, and the overall atmosphere.
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly to requests and questions, and acknowledge all guests.
• Provide courteous and efficient telephone service for general PBX inquiries, answering calls promptly with a smile, ensuring no guest is on hold for over 30 seconds and delivering accurate information.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel.
• Record and review all special guest requests.
• Complete all items on the daily checklist.
• Must ensure the concierge desk and lobby are clean, organized, and tidy.
• Provide assistance to the front desk as needed, serving as the hotel's lobby ambassador during peak times (e.g., check-in and checkout time).
• Maintain complete knowledge of the property, brand and World of Hyatt program.
• Perform all other related duties as required.
