Multi-award winning luxury hotel, the Park Hyatt Sydney seeks a passionate Commis Chef.
The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:
•Sets up the mise-en-place stations for the various meal periods according to performance standards.
•Prepares food items according to standard recipes
•Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.
•Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
•Ensures consistent supply of quality products and correct quantities to all food outlets within the hotel.
Qualifications
To beconsidered for this role the candidate should possess the following:
•Completion of Pastry Chef Apprenticeship or equivalent
•Good Hygiene Knowledge
•Good baking skills
•Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods
•Desired one years work experience as Pastry/Bakery Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant with good standards
