Cluster Revenue Manager (Alila Jabal Akhdar & Alila Hinu Bay, Oman)
Position Overview:
The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the total hotel revenue and profitability forAlila Jabal AkhdarandAlila Hinu Bay. This role involves both strategic oversight and tactical management of revenue operations across all revenue streams, ensuring the achievement of revenue potential across all market segments. The Revenue Manager will collaborate with sales, marketing, and operational teams to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies, while preserving luxury brand standards and guest experience. The Reservations department will report directly to the Revenue Manager to ensure alignment with the overall revenue strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Strategy Development & Implementation:
o Develop and implement strategies to optimize total hotel revenue (room revenue, F&B, spa, etc.) at bothAlila Jabal AkhdarandAlila Hinu Bay.
o Conduct market analysis to determine optimal rates, segmentation, and sales strategies.
o Apply dynamic pricing, forecast adjustments, and rate recommendations to meet revenue targets.
2. Forecasting and Reporting:
o Prepare accurate short-term and long-term forecasts to guide leadership in decision-making.
o Monitor and report on KPIs like RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and total hotel revenue.
o Provide regular revenue reports with insights and action plans to improve performance.
3. Yield and Inventory Management:
o Manage room rates and availability through the central reservation system (CRS) and Revenue Management System (RMS).
o Adjust strategies based on market conditions to maximize occupancy and revenue.
o Ensure effective management of overbooking, cancellations, and inventory.
4. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:
o Align revenue strategies with sales and marketing efforts to optimize business performance.
o Collaborate on promotional campaigns to drive demand during peak and off-peak seasons.
5. Competitor and Market Analysis:
o Benchmark against competitors and analyze market trends in the luxury hotel sector.
o Identify potential new revenue streams and target markets.
6. Guest Experience & Brand Alignment:
o Ensure that revenue strategies enhance the guest experience without compromising brand standards.
o Balance revenue optimization with exceptional service delivery.
7. Technology & Tools Management:
o Utilize revenue management software and tools (e.g., IDeaS, Opera, Tableau) to monitor and adjust pricing strategies.
o Stay updated with industry technology to enhance operational efficiency.
8. Team Leadership & Training:
o Lead and mentor the revenue management team to improve skills in pricing, yield management, and reporting.
o Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
9. Reservations Department Oversight:
o Oversee the Reservations team, ensuring alignment with revenue management goals.
o Guide the team in managing room availability and reservations effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of revenue management experience, preferably in the luxury hospitality sector.
• Proven success in managing total hotel revenue for multiple properties.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and market trends in Oman.
• Proficiency in revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS), property management systems (e.g., Opera), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
