Job Description For Club Lounge Attendant
Description
The Club Lounge Attendant is responsible for assisting in providing the highest quality service possible to guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hours of operation. The Club Lounge Attendant must ensure that all tables are kept clean and presentable with clean china, glassware, silverware and linen. As well as maintaining proper display of food items.
Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Heavy work - Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift
General Requirements:- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of colleagues and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by colleagues and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hyatt Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
- Comply with Hyatt Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

Fundamental Requirements:- Colleagues must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow colleagues.
- Appropriately greet, interact with and service guests and others.
- Keep all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current meal period.
- Clean/clear tables.
- Follow and comply with correct safety and sanitation procedures.
- Receive/organize and re-stock inventory.
- Keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to property specific standards.
- Break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room area according to established standards.
- Refilling beverages, bussing tables, and promptly resolving any guest requests.
- Complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side-work checklist.
- Mop/sweep in the event of a spill.
- Clean pantry, equipment and removal of trash in lounge and pantry areas.
- Answer the phone in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
- Assist fellow colleagues as needed throughout the shift.
- Provide table service including self-bussing.
- Brew Coffee.
- Refresh Food and Beverage products in the lounge
- General cleaning of the space
- Restock drinks, plates, silverware, etc.
- Place requisitions for all items needed for the lounge
- Keep track of all product consumptions on daily basis
- Maintain and clean the buffet
- Clear all dirty dishes, silverware and take to stewarding department
- Setup food offerings and replenish as needed.
- Perform pre-assembly and warming of food items and snacks.
- Work with stewarding on duties for China, glass and silver from lounge and tools in the pantry.
- Handle admittance vouchers.
- Assist in the receiving/organization and re-stocking of inventory.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Salary range - $30.3531 - $40.4709
