You will be responsible for preparing authentic Chinese cuisine with consistency, quality, and efficiency. You will oversee a specific kitchen section (e.g., Wok, Dim Sum, BBQ, Steaming), ensuring smooth operations and upholding high standards in hygiene, presentation, and taste. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and teamwork to support the overall kitchen operations.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a similar role within a Chinese kitchen, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., wok frying, steaming, roasting, dim sum preparation).
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to lead junior staff and work effectively in a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Culinary certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
