Description
The goal of the Chef de Cuisine at the Grand Hyatt Denver is to manage the restaurant and work with the Executive Chef and other Sous Chefs to create, implement and maintain quality standards and menu concepts according to Hyatt Standards and financial goals. The Chef de Cuisine is expected to be a "hands-on" Chef who leads their team by example. The Chef enables their team by ensuring food quality, equipment and sanitation standards are always met, supplies and inventories are readily available, expectations are communicated, recipes are current, and training is on-going. In some instances, the Chef de Cuisine will be expected to be responsible for the entire operation in the absence of the Executive Chef. Five to ten years previous experience in a full-servicerestaurant or hotel with progressive supervisory experience is required. The ideal Chef de Cuisine will accomplish their tasks by monitoring the daily functions of the culinary department, including providing support and guidance to the culinary team, ending in a positive guest experience.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Chef.
