Come be part of our Food & Beverage team as the Banquet Captain at the Hyatt Regency DFW as well asthe Global Hyatt Hotels Managed portfolio.

The Hyatt Regency DFW is located across from Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The Hyatt Regency DFW features 811 guestrooms and 92,000 square feet of function space.

Let's talk about your schedule

We're seeking a full-time Banquet Captain. This position requires open availability, Weekdays and Weekends. Your schedule will be reflective of booked events / business needs.

What are you responsible for?

Banquet Captains leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training. They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes and maintaining a sanitary environment. Banquet Captains will also liaison between our event planners and groups needs by catering to every detail.

Qualifications

You have

• Previous Banquet Server Experience
• Hospitality, Event, and/or Food & Beverage leadership experience
• availability to work a varying schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
• desire to create exceptional experiences for guests and colleagues
• a desire to be Detail Oriented
• the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• strong communication skills
• the ability to push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy weight consistently throughout shift
