Thompson Palm Springs is now recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Operations Manager to join the hotel's Operations team.
Thompson Palm Springs is poised to become the desert's most exciting destination tailored for influential locals and sophisticated globetrotters alike. Situated at the heart of the city's iconic Palm Canyon Drive, the hotel will offer a collection of 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms and suites, coupled with 8,000 square feet of total event space plus additional outdoor and unique spaces.
Upper Stories at Thompson Palm Springs will be an adults-only sanctuary of elevated luxury. Guests will indulge in rooms with sweeping mountain and pool views, enhanced by private balconies, upgraded essentials, and wellness-focused amenities. They will enjoy exclusive access to curated food and beverage offerings, soothing poolside activations, and a tranquil vibe that celebrates the essence of Palm Springs.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Director of Rooms, the Assistant Operations Manager will primarily oversee experience at the Upper Stories area of the property while also assisting in various areas of the hotel's operations to ensure seamless guest experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Additionally, this role will support broader hotel operations, collaborating with various departments such as Front Desk and Food & Beverage to drive efficiency, uphold brand standards, and deliver a seamless luxury experience across the property.

Compensation:
This is an exempt (salaried) role. The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $72,200 annually. $69,000 is the salary Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. This is the base salary Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on factors including experience and education.
