Description
Assist the Finance Director in the proper functioning and efficiency of the Accounting department.
Management Responsibilities:
1. Will ensure that the Department's activities are aligned with the Corporate Finance Strategy, and that Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate 2.
2. Will assist in the preparation and updating of departmental operations manuals for information systems and finance.
3. Will ensure that the hotel complies with all Company / Hotel Finance Policies and Procedures.
4. Will ensure that tax and employee legislations stipulated by the government are strictly followed and implemented.
5. Will conduct regular departmental communication meetings.
6. Ensure that an organized and up-to-date filing system is maintained for all pertinent financial records.
7. Will assist in reviewing all daily mail for the Accounting Department, including all incoming and outgoing accounts receivable correspondences.
8. Will be responsible for ensuring that all corporate, regional, hotel and governmental reports are compiled accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
9. Will monitor and ensure that hotel licenses are renewed on a timely basis.
10. Administer and renew insurance policies.
Qualifications
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
Advanced English
Bachelor's degree
Experience in luxury hotels
Strong communication and presentation skills
Leadership ability and behavior consistent with our core values
