The Opportunity
The AVP of Revenue Management, Franchise will direct the Revenue Management and collaborate across Commercial Services, CS Analytics, and Revenue Management for all Franchise hotels, across Select Service, Full Service, and All-Inclusive hotels. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic, and tactical support for operators to engage their hotels in driving performance. The Role
Responsibilities include general engagement with RM to represent the franchise's viewpoint and needs. This includes engagement across CS Analytical teams to engage the Franchise CS team in strategic actions based on data. They will prepare and review monthly and quarterly analytics across sample functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of the sample focus area and participating in special projects that incorporate a wide range of sample function exposure.
•Oversee all aspects of Hyatt's overall revenue management and analytics function for the franchise, working closely with peers in related and affected functional areas.
•Direct the development and analysis of business and industry market forecasts and assumptions including the development of revenue forecasts, annual and long-range plans to support strategic planning for Franchise.
•Analyze and communicate results of strategies and tactics to support scaleable strategies to deploy to operators.
•Monitor market performance to ensure revenue objectives are achieved and implement appropriate revenue growth strategies to correct performance shortfalls.
•Lead Regional Quarterly Business Review process for Commercial data, aggregating performance results and forward outlook, supporting VP of Commercial Services in developing regional revenue strategy to achieve results.
•Collaborate with Data and portfolio health teams to support dashboards and scorecards that commercially support operators in utilizing Hyatt tools and resources to improve performance.
•Engage Franchise CS in key revenue management strategies that Commercial leads should be focusing on with operators and support in growing the RM knowledge.
•Contribute to the strategic direction of the company and its commercial agenda as part of the leadership team at the company.
•Oversee coordination with marketing, sales, planning, operating divisions, finance, and other company departments required to accomplish the department's functional responsibilities.

Qualifications
Experience Required:
•15+ years' experience in Revenue Management. Significant experience in the leadership of all or part of a well-respected revenue management function within a company and industry that is highly dependent on revenue management as a core competence (e.g., hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental, or gaming-preferably). Consideration will also be given to individuals experienced in revenue management solutions from the consulting/services arena, but preference will be given to those with prior experience.
•Expertise with revenue management information systems - Information systems literacy, necessary to Hy PrO (Idea's Platform), and a strong affinity for optimizing systems in day-to-day use.
•Transformational change experience - Experience developing new strategies, establishing vision, and leading business change across people, systems, and processes to centralize the revenue management function and realign the regional teams that support it
•Experience working with franchise operators required.
Experience Preferred:
•Bachelor's degree
•Experience with varied RM systems and specifically Ideas

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $215,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus and other bonus incentive compensation.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
