Alila Resorts of California is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to join our team. This hybrid role blends sales support, data analysis, and reservations coordination, making it ideal for someone with a background in revenue management and/or sales who excels in both analytical and administrative functions.
The Sales Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by identifying business opportunities, handling individual reservation inquiries from the travel advisor community, and leveraging market intelligence tools to drive strategic sales decisions. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Data Analysis:
- Utilize market intelligence tools such as Agency 360, STR, and internal reporting systems to provide data-driven insights to the sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to enhance sales performance.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, trends, and projections to inform and optimize sales strategies.
- Work closely with the revenue and sales teams to align strategies and maximize profitability.
Reservations & Travel Advisor Engagement:- Manage and respond to individual reservation inquiries from luxury travel advisors, ensuring seamless service and accurate information. Coordinate with property reservations department for bookings
- Assist in coordinating transient reservation experiences, including handling special requests, amenities, and VIPs
- Serve as a key liaison between the sales team and travel partners, fostering strong relationships to drive bookings.
Administrative & Project Management:- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing CRM data, preparing contracts, coordinating client events, and maintaining sales systems.
- Organize and execute sales projects, including sales blitzes, account reviews, and internal reporting schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market insights
The Pay Range for this position is $69,000 - 86,600 per year. This is the pay range for this position at Hyatt reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

Qualifications - Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a sales, revenue management, or reservations role within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret and analyze data from various sources to inform sales strategy.
- Technology Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and hospitality sales and revenue management tools (Opera, Reserve, STR, Agency 360, etc.).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact confidently with travel advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Organizational & Project Management Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Luxury Hospitality Experience: Familiarity with high-end clientele and the expectations of a luxury travel environment.
