Grow your career as Airline Payable Specialist within ALG Vacations. As a member of this team, you will reconcile the airline payables and submit the weekly sales report to ARC. They process timely adjustments and refunds on airline payables resulting from cancelled or rebooked reservations and reconcile credit card transactions between payable and bank activity.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the processing, auditing and reconciliation of airline payables.
- Reconcile credit card transactions between payable reporting to bank activity.
- Process adjustments and refunds on payables on cancelled or rebooked reservation.
- Handle complex challenges including special projects due to weather, business decisions, flight delays or takedowns.
Qualifications: - Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Airline and/or travel experience preferred.
- The candidate must possess principles for excellent customer service.
- They must hold complex problem-solving skills and use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and an approach to issues.
- They must utilize Microsoft Office applications throughout their role.

The pay range for this position is an hourly rate of $17.31 to $21.63. This position is also eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials and premium pay under certain circumstances, or incentive awards.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
