Since 1996, when I entered the business world as an employee, I have seen everything changed with time. What did not change and is the same still over 24 years; is Human Resources. I still remember the question asked to me during my first interview. Most commonly,
"Tell me about yourself / please introduce yourself."
"Why do you think we should hire you?"
"Where do you see yourself five years from now?"
Same goes with the exits interview which; I do not need to mention.
It does not make a difference if the HR personnel has one year experience or over 20 years of experience; the style of the interview remains the same. I wonder how HR expects the candidates to be dynamic, flexible and adaptable to the changing environment when they are the same as they used to be in the 90s? Traditional, unchanged and outdated in recent times.
