The Everest Base Camp is a stupendously difficult trek for beginners. The difficulties you will face on the trek include:
1. Altitude and lack of oxygen make everything difficult.
2. The distance to walk – it isn’t very far, but there are steep ascents and descents.
3. Fear of heights, crossing very high suspension bridges.
4. Teahouse sharing accommodation, few showers, and little heat.
5. Walking an average of 5-6 hours a day.
6. Covering 13-14 kilometers of distance.
7. 400-800 m altitude elevation per day.
8. Chances of high altitude sickness.
The trekking route takes you through uphills and downhills on the steep rocky mountainous roads which requires a lot of physical strength. Also, the Everest Base Camp trekking trail has been highly graded as a difficult level, trekkers with good experience and good physical fitness can complete it without hesitation.
