Job Description For Sales Manager

Purpose and Scope of Position:

Responsible for maximizing Sausage Kitchen revenue and profitability from a portfolio of accounts in Dubai. To sell the Sausage products of the Sausage Kitchen. Ensure consistent growth in all revenue-generating areas of Sausage Kitchen as well as achieving set targets set forth by the Head of Operations Sausage Kitchen by servicing existing clients and sourcing new accounts.

1. Main Duties: (Job Related Duties)  

• Ensure consistent growth in all revenue-generating areas of Sausage Kitchen as well as achieving set targets set forth by the Master by servicing existing clients and sourcing new accounts.
• To respond to future changes in the department as may be required as by the hotel, industry and company.
• To strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), timings, code of conduct and deadlines set by the Head of Operations Sausage Kitchen.
• To consistently achieve 25 face-to-face quality sales calls per week, this also includes meetings in the hotel and site inspections.
• To make 15 Telesales calls a week.
• To meet clients, visiting Chefs, in-house guests at least once a week in order to maximize sales opportunities.
• To spend at least 75% of time in contact with existing or potential clients whether in or outside of the hotel. Only 25% of the time should be spent on administrative tasks as outlined in the SOP.
• Sales calls must be carried out on each working day, commencing no later than 9:30 am.
• To be customer focused in dealing with the client base.
• Practice efficient and effective account management at all times.
• Any client query needs to be responded to or executed within 24 hours or the next working day.
• Formulate quarterly action plans, periodic targets for your account portfolio for all revenue generating areas as well as formulation of a contingency action plan.
• Maintain a list of all new accounts introduced which can include reactivated accounts.
• Maintain a log of lost or regretted business as well as an effective trace system for follow-up actions in database.
• To assist credit department to collect the outstanding dues from customer as and when required.
• Maintain database by entering and continuously updating on a daily basis:
  • Complete Client and Company profiles.
  • Weekly Appointments & follow-up Appointments.
  • All call details with client/ potential client.

• It is essential to have up-to-date information of competitor’s price, top accounts and changes to their respective product as well as changes within the city and region.

• A detailed knowledge of all the facilities and products of the Sausage Kitchen.

Bachelors’ Degree or similar

• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate

At least two year experience in a similar role

• Has an understanding and/or experience of working in a multi-cultural workforce
• Knowledge and experience of sales.
