International Women's Day falls on March 8 every year. As it has been celebrated globally, its main purpose is to acknowledge the economic, political, social and cultural achievements of women from all walks of life. Significantly, the celebration highlights the struggles and achievements of women.
#IWD2021 theme is #ChoosetoChallenge. The idea is that from challenge comes change, so the theme urges the calling out of gender bias and inequality with the goal of making a major change to make things more inclusive.
