Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician Technician to join our team, India. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our facility. This role requires a professional approach, innovative problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex electrical problems
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and power outages
• Implement energy-efficient solutions and recommend improvements to existing systems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
• Assist in training junior technicians and sharing knowledge with team members
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and technologies

• Diploma, Degree, or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as an Electrician Technician in industrial or commercial settings
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Strong skills in using electrical tools and testing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations in Chennai, India
• Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical systems and technologies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions
• Valid electrician license or certification (if required in Chennai)
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls when needed
