Job Description
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years experience in a la carte dining
- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role
- Associated qualification AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring high attention to detail.
- A team player& leader with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach.
- Passion for hospitality & the pursuit for more knowledge
- Sound knowledge of HACCP requirements.
- Available to work across a flexible, rotating roster including evenings and weekends.
- Full unrestricted Australian work rights, Working Holiday can be accepted.
Your tasks includes: - planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff - demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
preparing and cooking food - explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
