Job Description For Shift Engineer

TRIBE

Company Description

We are looking for a Shift Engineer to join our TRIBE as we launched our first TRIBE Hotel into the London market in the summer of 2022.

Job Description

Performing routine maintenance on a wide range of equipment such as entry systems, security equipment, lifts and computer aided control systems, machinery, equipment including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Completing small repairs such as fixing locks, leaky taps, and broken furniture
Checking and maintaining safety equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, automatic fire vents
Preparing surfaces for painting by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
Performing repairs to floor and wall tiles, re-grouting and replacing mastic on various surfaces
Performing grounds maintenance such as replacing exterior light bulbs and fixtures
Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported
Maintaining tools and equipment required to perform the role effectively
Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all routine tasks are completed

Qualifications

You have knowledge of building repairs, including electrics and plumbing.
You have experience of following Health & Safety procedures.
You are a born optimist, who always put our guests, colleagues, and communities first.
You are your authentic self.
