Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Shift Engineer to handle all the maintenance issues around our hotel, making sure our guests stay safe and comfortable.

What you'll do...

• Help with the daily maintenance of the hotel, hitting the right notes for any faults or repairs.
• Plumbing - unblocking drains/toilets, repairing/replacing taps etc.
• Minor electrical gigs - replacing lamps/fittings, sockets and switches etc.
• Rock the Health and Safety tasks, like weekly fire alarm tests, water temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling.
• Maintenance on HVAC systems like filter cleaning/replacing.
• Ensure the hotel is kept to the highest maintenance standards.
• Respond quickly to all maintenance requests and concerns from guests and team members following the hotel reporting procedure.

• 2 years experience in a similar role within hospitality industry.

• You will be required to work flexible shift patterns which will include weekdays and weekends to support the team, as and when required.
• City & Guilds level 2 in any trade is desired but not essential.
• Plumbing and HVC experience desirable.
