Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in creating, altering, and repairing various garments and textile items to meet our customers' needs and maintain the highest standards of quality.

• Perform alterations and repairs on a wide range of garments, including dresses, suits, and formal wear
• Create custom-made clothing items based on client specifications and measurements
• Operate and maintain various sewing machines, including industrial and specialized equipment
• Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and notions for each project
• Take accurate measurements and fit garments on customers as needed
• Interpret and follow patterns and design specifications
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
• Collaborate with other team members to complete large-scale or complex projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
• Stay updated on current fashion trends and sewing techniques

• Two to three years of experience in cutting, stitching, and alterations
• Proficiency in various sewing techniques and ability to work with different fabrics and materials
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern making
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
• Ability to operate and maintain various sewing machines and equipment
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions in a sewing environment
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
