Job Description
Represents the business in the marketplace and with the Sales Manager, is the principle liaison and point of contact between the Operations and the 3rd Party Distributors (OTA's, STO's, Wholesalers, PCO's, Travel Agents).
The Sales Executive takes responsibility for positioning the business and its services and offerings, in the marketplace with the intention of maximising occupancy at the highest possible rate.
This role works closely with the relevant Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort between Sales, Reservations and the Operations to ensure that interested parties are conducted on comprehensive site surveys in the organisation's properties.
The role also ensures that 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTA's and PCA's receive timely deliveries of up-to-date Service, Rate and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in their on-line and paper marketing materials.
The Sales Executive may, with the Sales Manager, attend trade shows and events to promote and sell the hotel and its services.
