Job Description
Keeping the current location in order and new to the hotel support sales staff in generating revenue;
Trying to achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals;
Production of weekly, monthly, quarterly reports:
To ensure business development by producing an action plan, implementing it and continuously assisting;
Communicate with internal and external orders, customers, guests, both written and verbal, to provide them with prompt, enthusiastic and high-level service;
Participate in exhibitions and promotional projects, organize, make offers, direct, conclude and execute contracts. manage work related to sales activities such as;
Organizing familiarization tours, exhibitions to encourage sales within the hotel;
To ensure accurate implementation of sales reports:
To record accounts, contact numbers, activity and business details in computer programs from time to time:
After the sales contract is signed, to manage the work that will continue under the contract and to cooperate with other departments in this way;
Acquiring and sharing knowledge about the services offered by the Fairmont Baku Hotel, including information about guest rooms, local ceremonies for welcoming guests, the Hotel's history and heritage, activities and programs;
To be in close relations with both sales department colleagues and other departments:
Looking for solutions to existing systems and their problems.
To participate in the improvement of systems and procedures:
Assisting disabled persons and guests in a courteous manner and ensuring proper coordination;
Participate in weekly department meetings, daily meetings and trainings;
Acquire knowledge of Health/Safety;
To provide information about the correct management of the knowledge used for the timely resolution of problems or questions;

Research, investigate, analyze and develop new business opportunities:
Actively use social media and other means to reach potential wedding couples and event planning firms:
To provide reports as required, including the annual Strategic Sales Plan for the wedding market:
Develop strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with local and state vendors to increase weddings and optimize revenue;
Review wedding search platforms and marketing opportunities to ensure continued growth of wedding enquiries;
To be responsible for the sale of packages related to wedding and event services:
Provide a unique, innovative and individual guest experience, engage in event execution;
Plan and schedule effective sales meetings and field trips;
Prepare agreements and other required documentation of sales he/she realized
Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly and achieve set sales goals.
Based on hotel and/or market conditions, conduct research to adjust contracts with existing tour agencies or develop new ones:
Developing group, temporary and/or banquet business through action plan development and execution, obtaining new business opportunities from international operators, travel agents and large tour companies through sound business practices:
Discuss and agree directly with management and customers on parameters, offers and prices approved on the basis of written contracts:

Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
To fully organize reservations made by travel agencies for leisure purposes, requirements for guest rooms, food and catering, audiovisual issues from the day of reservation to the day of departure:
To organize payment procedures, to collect adequate information about the acceptance of any deposits and/or loans and to ensure that they are received within the acceptable time frame:
Actively follow the sales strategy to search for new potential contacts in all areas of sales, develop them and turn them into active productive accounts;
