Job Description
We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our Front of House teams for our Rundle Bar.
Available Opportunities Include:
Starting Rate: $16.55 per hour - $17.86 per hour, this is dependent on the position.
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years.
Availability Requirement - These are seasonal positions start June to October 31st
What you will be doing: Server:
- Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue
- Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures
Bartender:
- Take guest orders accurately and process purchases using the POS system
- Create beverages/Cocktails according to recipe and presentation standards
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:- Must have Pro-Serve Certification for Alberta prior to your start date
- Previous experience in a high-volume and fast paced hospitality environment is preferred (experience required is dependent on position)
- POS system experience an asset
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry, with a love for all things food and drink
- Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40+lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
