Design and install 4 seasons of color in the resorts flower beds, containers, pots, baskets, gardens while activating key aspects of the grounds with ornaments, signage, lighting, and other thoughtful touches.
- Create a seasonal plan/calendar for planting, trimming and landscaping project work, along with a plan for landscape/ground improvements.
- Work with landscaping contractors to ensure they stay true to their contact.
- Conduct regular walk through with the Landscape account manager, while documenting, coordinating and communicating tasks with the landscape company.
- Plan and design new projects with Director of Engineering and Dir of Operations
- Participating with and managing the holiday activation, decoration, planning and forecasting/budgeting, along with inventory and storage of all holiday theme items for reuse
- Work closely and alongside the resorts Landscaping team
- Perform daily walk through to create project lists, costings and understand of needs to enhance key areas of the resort to create consistence and thoughtful touches
- Participate, contribute and be fully knowledge and supportive of the removal of all "Single use plastic", along with the ACCOR NCA beach line report to ensure the property is in compliance or working towards 100% brand compliance
- Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 and our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
- Be fully knowledge and supportive of the work order system, as well as participate in daily Engineering, Grounds, Security and Facilities activities, team building and communication
- Assist the Dir of Engineering in obtaining quotes and then participate in reviewing such quotes to ensure a team agreement is made to move forward or not with any project
- Assist the Dir of Engineering in creating action plans and cost planning for all Health, Safety, Fire and other critical inspections and audits
- Maintains shop and other work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with the annual Capital project process and take ownership of any Capital projects assigned to the role while ensuring they stay on budget and on time
- Keep all Managers and Supervisors promptly and fully informed of all projects, plans, expenses and problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention, so prompt recovery can be taken when appropriate.
- Establishes accountability by consistently tracking ongoing projects and inventory
- Stay within all forecasts and budgets, and ensuring all orders are appropriately authorized and BirchStreet or any other PO system is used effectively and consistently
- Consistently communication with various departments concerning their areas
- Be part of the Resort Emergency & Security Response Team
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned

- Experience in Design, Horticulture, Capital projects, Planning and Fiscal Management.
