Job Description

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, an exceptional guest experience begins even before check-in and extends throughout every stay. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and welcoming - and our guests feel valued.

Pay Rate: $18.92/hour

Job Duties Include:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of Housekeeping storage areas
• Responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing all Housekeeping linen going to and from Fairmont Regional Laundry
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
