Job Description
Ready to embark on a new journey? ibis Styles Birmingham NEC & Airport is looking for outgoing, dependable, welcoming team member to deliver an amazing first impression and ensure our guests want to come back time and again. Officially known as a Guest Service Assistant, you'll be joining on a full-time basis in return for a competitive salary of £23886.72 per annum plus great benefits.
Personality and potential are top of our hiring wish list, but the ideal candidate will have 1 years' experience in a customer-facing hospitality job. We need people who are open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like - the kind of person you'd like to meet after a long day of travelling! You'll be checking guests in and out, answering questions and supporting them during your stay. A great telephone manner is essential and you'll need to be confident using a computer as you'll be doing some billing and Reservations. As we're one big team, you can also expect to be pulling the odd pint, taking some food orders and turning your hand to whatever's needed to ensure our guests have a great stay. You'll be working a mix of midweek, weekend, early and late shifts for flexibility in your schedule would be a big advantage. As you'll be serving alcohol, we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.
ibis Styles Birmingham Airport & NEC is a busy hotel welcoming conference delegates and world travellers and has a busy F&B and conferencing operations in addition to its guest accommodation. There's parking onsite and Birmingham International train station is just a few minutes walk away.
