Job Description

- Respond to inbound leads, qualify business and conduct initial sales discussions
- Prepare proposals, curate, create, and execute seamless events from concept inquiry to completion
- Proactively communicate with clients to understand their needs and personalize events to exceed expectations
- Manage the timeline, logistics, budgets and delivery of events
- Showcase your passion for people and luxury hospitality by fostering strong client relationships, repeat business and excellent reviews
- Consistently achieve or exceed set KPIs
- Maximize revenue by showcasing exceptional upselling abilities and understanding client needs
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the Hotel's goals are met, including Reservations, Front Office, Culinary and Food & Beverage
- Maintain accurate records and reporting across all sales and events management systems
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:- A luxury attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a high EQ are essential
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination (preferably within a luxury hotel environment)
- You are a self-motivated sales professional with strong negotiation skills and upselling expertise
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, able to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Experience preparing Banquet Event Orders, conducting pre-event meetings, and preparing events reports
- Attention to detail in proposals, contracts, and event execution
- Knowledge and ability to operate Opera Cloud Software and various CRM systems
