Job Description
Design marketing materials.
- Create graphics for social media, product packaging, websites, and advertisements that align with brand identity.
- Creates the designs and artworks required of the hotel under the supervision of the Marketing and Communications Manager.
- Responsible for the hotel's graphic design requirements.
- Prepare layout of the hotel collaterals well ahead of schedule for preparation to Marketing and Communications Manager.
- Handles all photos taking of special events for PR coverage and food and beverage promotions.
- Capable of conceptualizing and developing graphics through experience on PC graphics software.
- Design and execute visual of artwork for approval of Marketing and Communications Manager.
- Execute final artwork and coordinate with suppliers for production and printing.
- To update designs for all hotel publications, promotional materials, and art requirements.
- The Graphic Designer may be called upon to undertake other responsibilities in accordance to the requirements of the management.
- He/she may be called upon to assist on special mission or replacement in commercial or administrative department of the hotel.
- Manage time effectively to deliver high-quality designs on schedule.
Collaborate with team members. - Ensure close working relation not only within the Sales & Marketing department but also within all departments that would need art service.
Maintain brand guidelines. - Ensure consistency across all visual designs to build a strong brand identity.
- Use fonts, design principles, and color schemes to enhance the appeal of marketing materials.
- Appreciate consistency of graphic style and typography.
- Keep a file of reference materials related to the design of all hotel publications and promotional materials, both local and overseas.
- Have at least a working knowledge of and be able to type accurately as well as be aware of editorial style.
Qualifications
Requirements:- A bachelor's degree/ Diploma in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the hotel industry. Demonstrated expertise through a strong portfolio with high-quality designs.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite)
- Proficiency in typography, color theory, and design principles to create impactful visuals.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adjust designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Creative ability to overcome design challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Awareness of industry trends and the ability to integrate them into projects.
