We are on the lookout for a skilled Full time Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain, repair and enhance our property with care and precision. You will need a mixture of technical, problem-solving and communication skills to effectively diagnose, repair and maintain equipment & facilities. You will be available to work on a rotating 7-day roster including public holidays.
Specifically, the ideal candidate will have the following skill set and confidence with;
Carpentry: Repair, replace and install hardware, cabinetry and other wooden fixtures.
Painting & Plastering: plastering, patching and painting.
Plumbing: pipe installations, leak repairs and drainage systems.
Electrical knowledge: Wiring, circuits and repair of small appliances.
Preventive Maintenance: Inspecting and maintaining equipment to prevent breakdowns, conducting routine checks on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Communication & Documentation: Writing reports and work orders and having regular communication with all team members.
Computer & Technology Skills: Using maintenance management software (SNAPFIX, OPERA, MYBOS), a basic knowledge of smart building technologies is preferred.
Safety & Compliance: A full understanding of workplace safety regulations including proper handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications
Relevant full trade certification (New Zealand) preferred and current licenses.
