Job Description
- Supervise and guide department heads (e.g., Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering) in their daily responsibilities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments, such as occupancy rates, guest satisfaction scores, and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- Ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations, including guest check-in/check-out, room assignments, and problem resolution.
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest service throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest complaints and inquiries.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to department heads.
- Motivate and inspire staff to achieve operational goals.
- Assist in the development and management of the hotel budget.
- Monitor and control expenses to maximize profitability.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Comply with all relevant safety and security regulations.
- Identify areas for improvement in hotel operations and implement necessary changes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in industry events and conferences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel operations management, including supervisory experience.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage management
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial control
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Must be living in Egypt
- Preferred Local candidates.
- work permanent license is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in performance management and team development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hotel management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and quality standards
- Adaptability and resilience in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
