Job Description
Responsible for set up, monitoring and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including the computer networks, servers, POS systems and communication technologies of the Hotel.
Ensuring and implementing security measures to ensure the integrity and privacy of corporate and guest data, as well as compliance with data protection regulations.
Leading the IT team
Technical instruction for employees and trainees
Motivation of the team
Installation and configuration of hardware and software.
Troubleshooting and troubleshooting of IT issues that arise.
Technical support for all employees of all mentioned companies as well as the organization of employee training to ensure the efficient use of IT systems and tools.
Development of technological solutions that improve guest service, such as optimization of reservation systems, digital check-in/check-out procedures and Wi-Fi services.
Resolving issues and handling guest complaints, related to IT challenges.
Communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Negotiation and communication with IT suppliers and service providers to ensure that the products and services delivered and used meet the requirements of hotel operators.
Responsibility for effective vacation planning for all team members.
Regular participation in HOD meetings and conducting daily team briefings.
Conducting appraisal interviews with all team members, according to Fairmont standards.
Management of the IT budget in terms of efficient use of resources.
Leading IT projects and initiatives, such as introducing new technologies or updating software applications.
Informing management about the status and progress of IT initiatives.
Preparation of reports to document the usefulness and effectiveness of IT systems.
Tracking technological trends. The incumbent must deal with current IT trends in order to keep hotel operations competitive.
