With a range of offerings from upscale to luxury, our Lounges receive rave reviews from both our customers and our team.
What are the roles?
Our Cooks provide service between our a la carte and buffet environments. All our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm and demonstrating a genuine passion for customer service and the kitchen. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef, you will form a key part of a team who are responsible for providing high quality product to our lounge passengers.
What do I need?
-Support the Head Chef in Food preparation, ordering and team development to exacting Lounge standards.
-Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
-Responsibility for your designated area, as well as anticipation of guests needs
-Prepare and present with flair, all menu items for buffet, a la carte and tray service as required to Lounge standards and within budget controls
-Ensure Food safety standards are met in all stages of food cycle- delivery, storage, preparation, cookery, service and rotation.
Skills and experience-
-Have a confident and outgoing personality
-An appropriate knowledge of food safety standards
-Exceptional Personal presentation standards
-An appreciation and understanding of wine and food with solid experience in your previous workplace.
