Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join our small, vibrant Kitchen team where you will contribute to the achievement of high quality standards in all areas of food preparation, presentation and cooking techniques according to established recipes/standards.

During various meal periods and the provision of room service, you will play a key role in helping us deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

This role will report to the Head and Sous Chef and your main duties will include;

• Working with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and professional standards of food production at all times.
• Ensuring all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
• Checking that all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulations.
• Ensuring that work area, equipment and section is kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health and hygiene regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Certification/qualification in culinary arts preferred
• Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously
• Good level of English
• Physically fit and energetic
• Reliable, punctual with excellent personal presentation
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work on a rotating 7 days a week roster including weekends, public holidays and evenings
• 32 hours guaranteed
