Cluster Director Talent Acquisition
We are looking for a dynamic leader who is truly passionate about all aspects of Talent Acquisition, and who has a strategic vision, and an exceptional ability to drive results for both employees and the brand, to communicate effectively, to be responsible for assessing the recruitment needs of the hotel and creating competitive talent acquisition strategies, programs and plans to ensure that we are hiring of top talent!
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Cluster Director of Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and execute a hotel specific recruitment strategies
- Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide best in class candidate experience from the first contact to onboarding
- Responsible for researching and seeking out new recruitment channels and present innovative recruitment ideas and solutions to attract talent in order to build a strong talent pipeline
- Partner strategically with the Executive team to assist them in evaluating departmental hiring requirements based on operational demand and business volumes and implementing the most appropriate hiring solutions
- Work with the Raffles and Fairmont Resort Team in creation and implementation of Recruitment Marketing Strategies to target and attract top talent
- Responsible for overseeing a full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels
- Manage notifications, endorsement and approvals of internal candidate applications within property and to other Accor properties
- Checking applicants' references
- Responsible for overseeing all third-party agencies, ensuring compliance for all work permit holders, accurate record keeping
- Oversee recruitment reporting and communications to ensure that the Executive Team, hiring managers and T&C leaders have access to accurate and timely recruitment information
- Manage the property recruitment system (SmartRecruiters), creating requisitions, posting positions, screening candidates
- Responsible for providing hiring managers with training on the recruitment hiring and interviewing processes, as well as on the recruitment systems (SmartRecruiters)
- Responsible for the creation and implementation of the recruitment Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring that these are communicated with the hotel hiring team and kept updated
- Responsible for developing and tracking measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that processes are transparent and measurable
- Organize and attends job fairs and recruitment events/trips together with regional and hotel team members as required
- Responsible for managing the University/College/RSG Program, including arranging interviews, assisting with interviews and candidate selection, and the on-boarding process
- Responsible for assisting with arranging and conducting interviews alongside the hiring manager(s) to fill salaried positions (Assistant Manager and above), assessing candidate's skills and competencies
- Consult with hiring managers regarding selection of candidates, adapts to hiring manager needs while adhering to overall company guidelines
- In collaboration with the Housing Manager and the Talent & Culture team members, ensure an accurate and timely flow of information about new arrivals and available housing to ensure new employees can be adequately housed
- Collaborate with the Cluster Director of Talent & Culture in managing the recruitment and relocation budgets - tracking, forecasting and accruing expenditure as required in planning their hiring needs and implementing the most appropriate hiring solutions
- Responsible for coordinating with hiring managers to define necessary requirements for open roles based on operation demands
- Maintain accurate information about the hire-ability of relevant internal and external candidates
- Manage reference and background check systems
- Complete offer process for all candidates
- Draft and deliver employment contracts
- Support hiring managers with negotiation of employment terms and conditions
- Attend monthly regional Talent Acquisition meetings and collaborate with region to share opportunities
- Take corrective action if unapproved hiring is taking place
- Develop relationships with hiring managers and ensure that all open requisitions reflect the skills mix required by the property
- Ensure that an accurate job description library is maintained
- Collaborate with Marketing team to create and post recruitment content on social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Manage general recruitment email inbox
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain the highest levels of Saudization ratios at all times, inline Government parameters
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with recruitment and/or Talent and Culture
- Previous experience with recruiting for high volume companies
- Proficient in the use of computers and online platforms (social media, professional networks, job boards, etc.)
- Preferred experience working in remote locations and/or with hiring agencies, and with focus on sourcing strategies
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Microsoft teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) required
- Enthusiastic and positive personality with ability to build strong relationships
- Social media knowledge and experience an asset
- Familiarity with foreign recruitment and various immigration streams an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Analytical problem solver with a keen eye for detail, a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Results orientated with the ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure
- Innovative, creative and willing to take risks and be accountable for successes, near misses and the inevitable, misses!
- Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvement
- Knowledge of Saudi Labour Law
