Job Description

We are currently seeking a Casual Cook to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across all areas of kitchen operations.

This would be a great role for someone who has recently graduated or is studying cooking

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Cooking meals for breakfast and dinner services
• Food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking
• Stewarding duties, including washing dishes and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Deep cleaning of kitchen areas as required to maintain high standards of hygiene
• Learning all aspects of kitchen operations, including food safety and kitchen management

• Experience in cooking or kitchen operations (preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness
• Positive attitude, flexible and eager to learn
• Exemplary communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards.
• Food Handlers certificate or willingness to obtain
• Availabilty to work across a 7 day roster including mornings, evenings and weekends
