Job Description
The Balam Guide will serve as the primary point of contact for the resort management and personal service, ensuring a seamless and sophisticated living experience for guests throughout different activities. This role requires a blend of hospitality expertise, organizational skills and a strong commitment to service excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury hotels, private households, or similar roles in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with colleagues, VIPS, owners and guests.
- Familiarity with formal dining and service etiquette, as well as event planning. Knowledge of the LQA, Forbes, AAA and AMEX FH&R standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong critical thinking skills to address and resolve issues as they arise.
- Willingness to adapt to changing schedules depending on the specific needs of the resort.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (Opera) and communication tools.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish), additional languages are a plus.
- Handling Microsoft Office software and writing with professional etiquette
