We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie (CDP) with expertise in Pan Asian Cuisine, including Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian and Korean cuisine.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of oriental flavors, techniques, and presentation styles, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and innovate the Asian food offering in all the hotel restaurants.
Have a user manual prepared for all Asian recipes across all restaurants.
Train the kitchen team on the recipes and train the service team on the menu knowledge of the Asian recipes.
Make sure food quality meet our hotel standards.
Portion control to be strictly followed in order to control cost.
Solve any guest compaints immeditely by touching guest tables and taking feedback. Ensure to notify the Executive Chef or Sous Chef of all complaints.
Checks inventories to see proper ordering is done and to ensure proper storage, rotation of stock.
Checking that all food items for storage are covered with vita film, dated, labelled and initialized by person who made it or used it.
Drives and follows up on taste panels for the Asian menu.
Be aware of accident prevention and help enforce safe work conditions in the kitchen – zero accidents is our goal.
Follow all kitchen regulations and procedures as outlined and directed by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs.
Checks quality, quantity and adherence to menu cycle.
To ensure proper food date tagging is done, to avoid expired products in the kitchen. 0 tolerance for this.

Key Expectations/Qualifiactions

Minimum 2 years of experience in the same role specilizing in Asian food production.
Minimum a diploma in food production.
Ability to improvise and build creative menus.
